Scuba Dive in New Zealand.
Scuba Dive Tairua is based at Tairua in the Coromandel Peninsula, New Zealand. Just 2 hours easy drive from Auckland, Hamilton and Tauranga.
The Alderman Islands are in the East Coast of the Coromandel Penninsula, New Zealand and offer some of the best scuba diving in New Zealand, if not the world !!!
At Dive Tairua we offer scuba dive excursions to the fabled Alderman Islands, which are only a 20 minute journey from our headquarters. As well as providing passage out to the dive sites we also supply refreshments and hire out all the quality scuba dive kit required.
You must be PADI qualified to scuba dive with us. If you do not have the necessary PADI qualifications do not worry as Dive Tairua is a PADI centre and offers the scuba diving courses needed to get you safely scuba diving. We are also happy to take out snorkellers or sightseers if you would like to bring some friends along.
Tairua is a wonderful holiday spot with plenty of local accommodation, galleries, clothes shops, cafe, restaurants and bars.
So at Dive Tairua we can also supply alternative activities for family members not going on a diving trip or for the Scuba diver that would like to try something new. We have a full range of water sports gear for hire, kayaks for a cruisey paddle in our beautiful harbour and also charter boats for fishing trips.
